This October half term, pupils of Meltham C.E
Primary School, have been given an unusual opportunity to raise funds for the school.
Each
child in the school has been given £1 and been asked to use the money to ‘grow’ their £1.
My children, Euan (7) and Anna (4) have spent their money on
plastic sheets to make ‘I’ve supported Meltham C.E Primary School’ sun catchers bearing the school’s well known totem pole. They have thoroughly enjoyed painting the
pictures.
By purchasing a sun catcher for £1 you are helping
to raise funds to create a balance trail for the Junior playground similar to the one recently installed in the Infant playground
– pictured below.
